This frame keeps its saves separately from the game's own site, and some browsers block saving inside an embedded frame. For a long run, open it in its own tab.
This one wants a mouse and a keyboard: you click crew, rooms and power bars, and pause with Space. It will load on a phone, but the panels are too small to play it there.
Starship
Haven Station is running out of air and the replacement reactor core is in your hold. One courier frigate, four crew, eight jumps through raider space, and everything you do on the way is remembered.
Haven Station's fusion core cracked nineteen days ago, and forty thousand people are breathing what is left in the tanks. The replacement is in the hold of the courier frigate Meridian, and the Ashen Fleet has cut every relay lane between here and there. You run the ship from above, cut open so you can see into it: four crew to send to fires, hull breaches and broken machinery, nine bars of reactor power to share between shields, engines, weapons and air, and a chart on which you choose one of three lanes for each of eight jumps. Asteroid swarms, solar flares, ion storms and nebulae come at you on the way, and so do raiders, who chase you until you destroy them, take their surrender or outrun them. Unknown signals stop the ship and ask for a decision, and the decisions follow you. The crew have morale, the Federation keeps a record and the Ashen keep a count: push your people too far and they down tools, rob the wrong lifeboat and a marshal comes looking, kill every raider you meet and somebody sends a hunter. Mercy is remembered as well.

- No build step
- A run
- Eight jumps, three lanes to choose from at each
- Signals
- Twenty-seven, six of them not human
- Raiders
- Six classes, a Federation marshal and an Ashen hunter
- Difficulty
- Cadet, Captain or Veteran, and a daily run
- 01
Click a crew member, or press 1 to 6, then click a room. They do the most urgent job there on their own: a fire, a breach, a broken system, then the console.
- 02
Click the bars along the bottom to move reactor power between systems. Space pauses, and every order can be given while paused.
- 03
Raiders chase you as you travel. Click their weapons, shields or engines to aim, or outrun them: more engine power opens the gap and an emergency burn (B) opens it fast.
- 04
Signals are decisions, and some are answered for at the next base. Watch the morale, standing and bounty gauges in the top bar.
Keep playing.
